Here I am signing in for me and Pietro in Avalon Catalina's CITY HALL. WE were fortunate to be able to get an appointment with the City Manager about the idea of Ustica and Avalon, Catalina being "SISTER CITIES".
This is City Manager, Denise Radde, Gina Schuchard, Chief Financial Officer and myself. Denise has given this project to Gina to work on.
Here are the officials with Pietro, the one with this great idea.
Outside with Gina, saying our goodbyes. They thought it was an honor that we would like to do this. There would be opportunities for cultural exchanges etc.
While Pietro and I were at city hall, the rest of the group went shopping!! Sal above is taking a break!!
After the business at City Hall was over we had several hrs. before our boat arrived, so we took off looking through the different neighborhoods.

Here we are, Ron, Marlene, Maria, Pina and Sal in front of a home with this hugh bougainvillea plant!! Of course Pietro took the picture!!
My husband Ron and I back out on the main street. There were many unique homes to look at!!

Well we have decided to walk all the way out to the Casino!!
We are about halfway there, it is very picturesque in the distance!!

On the other side of the Casino is this beautiful beach and cabana's to rent!! And after the walk out to the Casino, we all took a break and sat down!! Sal and Pietro are on the right!!
Yes, all good things come to an end and here we are headed back to the mainland and home in Ramona, CA!!
