The Basketball Player
Recently Giovanni joined a basketball league! Grandmother Marlene and I were invited to join proud parents John and Elaine at the Grossmont College Gym on Saturday April 23rd to view his 2nd game!! The name of his team is the San Diego Warriors. Giovanni's team had won their 1st game handily, unfortunately they played a better team this time out!! These pictures on left and right are Giovanni and team mates warming up, before the game!!
Giovanni in action , above watching the ball hoping to get a rebound and he was faithful running up and down the court on defense and waiting for his chance to take a shot!! Giovanni loves basketball and it was his idea to join a league!!

The game is over, a still proud Mom and Dad waiting for Giovanni with grandmother Marlene on the left and on the right a Happy Giovanni joins them with the gym in the background. A fun day for all comes to an end. Oh well wait till next week!!
