Aunt Josephine, son Tom Visit 2019
This is Aunt Josephine with her caregiver in Lemon Grove. Aunt Josephine is a 103 years old and will be 104 on July 6, this year!! Her son Tom and his wife came for a visit on April 24th this year!! Tom and his wife Sandi were very brave and thoughtful, they not only visited Mom, they took her site seeing almost every day they were here!!
This is a picture of Tom and Sandi's front yard in Idaho!! Having been to Aunt Josephine's home and seen how organized everything was, it's obvious that Tom has inherited her DNA!!
This the Restaurant in Little Italy (San Diego) where Tom took his wife Sandi 53 years ago on their 1st date!!
And here they are 53 years later enjoying that Happy Memory and time in their lives!!
Here is a picture of Mom Josephine having lunch in San Capistrano, CA The day before they had taken her to the Coronado Insland. The ride to Capistrano was likely over half a day in travel etc!!
The next day, there she is visting her niece Marlene and her husband Ron in Ramona, CA. It is likely a 1 hour trip from Lemon Grove to Ramona each way, around some curvy roads. What a wonderful fun time visiting with Josephine and her son Tom and wife Sandi. Aunt Josephine is still sharp but has trouble hearing!!
And sure enough, the next day here is Sandi pushing Mom Josephine along in Julian, CA. Julian is and old mining town in the mountains near San Diego. This was the end of the sight seeing time of Mom Josephine with son Tom and Sandi ,I'm sure Mom Josephine loved it all.

Here is Sandi in the front of our house enjoying Springtime in Ramona, it was still winter type weather in Idaho. On the right is a close up of one of the roses. We have had a lot of rain this year and all the flowers were blooming beautifully this year!!
