Birthday Party

The Birthday Girl, Josephine, walks out to meet her guests at her 96th Birthday party. She looked wonderful ! To her left is great-grandson Nick, grandaughter Debbie Jenkins and niece Marlene. To the right is grand-nephew Stanley Bialecke.
Josephine with a nice smile ! She is recuperating from a broken neck at a really nice Board and Care owned and operated by her grandson Tony and wife (a nurse) Patti Jenkins in Lemon Grove.
Some of the family waiting for Josephine to appear: Niece Diana, son-in-law Al, grandson Joe, and son Tom from Idaho.
The beautiful birthday cake, enjoyed by all.

Josephine admiring the beautiful cake with 9 and 6 candles. She has surely been blessed with 96 healthy and productive years !!! and she is grateful to God.
Josephine is telling the guests " It is a miracle of God that I am here" She also thanked her neighbor Jenny for being such a help.
Josephine's brother Mario, Jenny, the neighbor that was such a help when she fell, and niece Barbara.
Daughter Sylvia prepareing to cut the cake. Sylvia and husband Al, flew in from Placerville and son Tom came for the celebration from Idaho.

Josephine's great-grandson Jame's wife Olivo and their boys that are Josephine's great-great grandsons.
Here is Josephine's grandson Tony's wife, Patti. Their Board and Care is named "Guardian Angels " and she is a loving Angel, really.
The beautiful music for the event was by Johnny Long, a frequent visitor at the facility. He sang and played alot of "good oldies."
Sylvia, Josephine and Marlene. Josephine surprised all by being so full of energy to celebrate for at least 2 1/2 hours.
