What do you do for fun on your Birthday, when it is pouring down rain? Marlene and I usually go out for dinner to start the Celebration. So with the rain, we thought about our favorite Italian Restaurant Amici's in Ramona!! Since we often have lunch with daughter Cindy there? Why not see if she is able to take time off from work, and join us. Thankfully she did, and we all had a wonderful lunch. And to top it all off we each had a Cannoli like the one above for dessert!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Marlene!!!!!!!!
The next day the rain had stopped and the sky was beautiful. How is this view to look at while you have lunch? Son Tom and daughter Natalie joined us at Anthony's Fish Grotto in La Mesa!! Marlene and I are at the table, with the view out the window to the left. The picture of us all at the table was bad, so we took several pictures outside to show the beauty of the premise's.
Son Tom drove down from Orange County to share Mom's Birthday. And the house furnished Marlene the special goodie above, cake and ice cream!! Yum Yum!! And more of the scenery outside with a picture of Tom and Mom Marlene!!
Daughter Natalie above was very kind and shared her pictures with me!! She also brought sister Val's presents for her Mom. Natalie gave her Mom a shirt and gave me a early Christmas Gift of See's Candy!!!!!!!!!! Afterwards Marlene got to show Tom all the work we had been doing at the house she grew up in on Malcolm DR. Then it was back home to savor all the beautiful cards she had received. On the right she is trying on the shirt from daughter Val!! I told her things were so good, I would let her have another Birthday soon???
