These are pictures we got when we visited
relatives in San Jose 2004. This is Rose Marchese Nicolini. She is daughter of
Salvadore’s wife Maria and Giovanni Marchese. Giovanni died in Palermo
so Salvadore helped raise her when they came to America. She was 8 years old when
she noticed the Statue of Liberty from the boat in 1903. She had 2 sons, Paul
& Leo Nicolini. |

Rose’s son, Paul of San Jose. He and wife
Gloria have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. He took us around to visit
the Aunts. Paul lives in the Willow Glen area, where the Marchese’s
have always lived.

The Two Aunts !! Rose Marchese Zacardi (daughter
of Teresa M.) & Nancy Marchese Braga,(daughter of Salvadore M. & Maria
M.). Rose is 94 & Nancy 92 !! Nancy is still real active, looking for a nice
boyfriend !! Really sweet ladies living in Willow Glen-San Jose, Ca. |

After the trip we celebrated our 35th Anniversary
! We treated ourselves to a special dinner at the Brigantine Restaurant.
You can tell, we are very happy with our marriage, God has been so
good !!!
