Victor Marchese Family

Descendants of Mario Marchese Sr.
Victor Emmanuel Marchese Born Oct. 30th, 1920 in San Jose, Ca. Started his singing career while serving in the U.S. Navy in Hawaii. There he met and married Irene Tavaras and they had 2 girls, Helena and Marianna. They lived in Hollywood and there he became a singing & recording star. He later married Doris Becker and they lived in Florida. This is a picture of them in 1956. They had 4 children. Victoria, Mario William, John, and Joel. Victor died April 22, 2003 San Diego, Ca.
Below baby Mario was the 1st grandson born to Victors dad, Mario Marchese Sr. Victor was so proud. In the middle photo, Victor is showing, baby Mario to his Mother-in-law. In the right photo is baby Mario William, now a teenager, visiting with his Uncle Mario Marchese Jr.

Left is Victor’s  family at the table with Calif. Visitors. Left to right :  Doris, Victoria, Sister Rosie (in corner), Victor holding 2nd son John, Victors older brother John holding Mario and Rose’s son David. This was in 1961, they had all come on the train to Florida to visit Victor & Doris.To the right they are at the beach:  Brother John, Victor holding Victoria, and David out in the deep !!
