This is the Bronze Age Village of Faraglioni on Ustica, 1400-1200 BC. The rock-stack remains of their village. Left-Pietro by the replica of a dwelling. to the right the remains of the Village.

These are 2 caves that were inhabited also by the Bronze age people. These caves are in someone's country property.
Here is Marlene in front of another prehistoric cave. Pietro and Marlene in a Roman doorway on the Roman Hellenistic age remains on top of the Falconiera hill.
These are Roman Steps, carved on the top of this mountain for a view and also a lookout. This is the view from Falconiera down to the port and city. The Romans were probably here in the 1st century AD.

This is lookout and message center. The scout would stand in there, look out and spot the enemy and call out to the next post. To the right is one of the many carved in rock Roman cisterns and also palaeo-Christian necropolis sites, where they would bury their dead. The Island is really an Archaelogical Wonder !!!!
